The article deals with the andragogical foundations of professional development of personality. It will focus primarily on the andragogical potential of vocational education. After all, it is during the period of basic vocational training that the transition from the "children's" pedagogical model of training to the andragogical one should take place. Only in this case a young person will be able to acquire a truly subjective position in his professional development.
