The Karakatinskaya depression frames the southeastern and northeastern extremities of the Sangruntau and Nura mountains. It administratively belongs to the Tamdynsky district Navoi region of the Republic of Uzbekistan, 110 кмnorth of the city of Zafarabad. The nearest railway station is located 90 km the west of the Sangruntau deposit. [1].
