SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS OF STUDENTS WITH THEIR SECOND COURSER EDUCATION TEACHERS

Abstract

The study aimed to formulate an action program for an enhancement of students’ performance of second courser teachers by focusing on their social relationship. Purposive sampling was used with descriptive and correlational and inferential statistics. The descriptive survey questionnaires and formative test were the tools for data gathering. Salient findings were obtained wherein the students’ status needs improvement when it comes to academic performance birth order. Teacher-respondents have also varying level of their profile having significant relationship with the students’ academic performance and birth order, roles and status. However, seminar work-shops and the methods of teaching employed shows insignificant on their professional attributes. It is then recommended that an action program will be endorsed to the Department of education, Division of Cebu City and a corresponding study shall be conducted within other districts
