Abstract

This article demonstrates the place and role of the image of women in the bestselling  of American modern literature, contemporary family saga called “Beach House series” by prominent writer Mary Alice Monroe. It discusses a genuine work of the novelist M.A.Monroe to explore how the author defined, reflected and shaped gender roles. This article discourses on the representation of feminist views in a sympathetic family saga “Beach House series”.
